What is 1 Family Plan?

1 Family Plan is one secure place to gather everything your family would need in an emergency or after a loss — accounts, documents, insurance, medical details, passwords, advice, recommendations, and final wishes. It is not a legal document and doesn't replace a will, living trust, or attorney; it organizes the day-to-day information your loved ones would otherwise scramble to find.

How do I get my affairs in order before something happens?

Start by putting the essentials in one place: who to contact, where documents are, account and insurance details, medical wishes, and any final messages. 1 Family Plan walks you through it section by section and asks questions you might not think of, so nothing important is forgotten. When you're ready to go further, our Shop lists the safes, document storage, and tools families use to stay prepared.

What should my family do if something happens to me?

They open one file, enter the passcode you shared, and tap Print for a step-by-step list of what to do in the first 24–48 hours — who to call, what's due, and where everything lives. No hunting through drawers or guessing at passwords.

Is my information really safe?

Yes. 1 Family Plan encrypts your information on your own device using your passcode (industry-standard AES-256). Nothing is sent to us or stored online — there are no accounts and no cloud. The sensitive details never leave your device unless you choose to back them up.

What happens if I forget my passcode?

Because your information is truly encrypted, no one — including us — can recover it without your passcode. That's what keeps it private. We recommend setting a hint, keeping your passcode somewhere safe, and sharing it with one person you trust. You can also print a copy for your safe.

Do I need internet to use it?

No. Once downloaded, 1 Family Plan works completely offline, forever. There's nothing to install and no subscription.

Will my family be able to open it?

Yes — anyone with the passcode can open it on any modern phone, tablet, or computer. That's why we suggest sharing the passcode with someone you trust now, so it's there when they need it.
